- Participation Requirement: B2 License Earned
- Modes: Item Grand Prix (Squad), Speed Grand Prix (Solo)
- Note: Only solo-queueing is available for both Item and Speed Grand Prix
- The top 100 Racers from the Season 3 Grand Prix in both modes will be added to the Hall of Fame.
- Qualifying Race:
- Racers who have not joined the Grand Prix during the season will participate in five Qualifying Races.
- The current season's Grand Prix rank will be determined based on the Qualifying Race results, as well as the previous season's Grand Prix GPP points (Placement Rank: Bronze III - Gold III).
- Quick Match has been added, allowing Racers to rejoin the Grand Prix queue from the lobby after a match has ended.
- Racers rank Silver II and below (0 - 1,999 GPP) will earn additional GPP based on their accumulated GPP.
- Changes from Season 3:
- The Win Streak Bonus for Item Grand Prix (Squad) has been decreased.
- If a squad member in an Item Grand Prix (Squad) match leaves your team during a race, the GPP lost upon defeat has been adjusted.
Season 4 Grand Prix Rewards
- When the Grand Prix season ends, rewards will be distributed based on the Racer's place overall and their Grand Prix Rank.
- Note: Racers must Finish in at least 10 Grand Prix races to qualify for prizes.
- Rewards are granted based on the highest rank the player achieved in the season, not their final rank.

Gameplay

- The bane of first place!
- Locks onto the racer in First Place when fired, regardless of distance, and explodes with the same effect as a normal missile on impact.
- Available in Crossover Mode only.
Game Mode Changes
New Item: Big Banana
- Try to dodge around this banana!
- Throws a giant banana peel on the track. Driving over banana peels cause the kart to slip and spin out.
- Available in 3-Star Difficulty Tracks only, in Item Mode or Item Grand Prix races.
New Item: Scanner
- Time for a sneak peek!
- Using the scanner allows you to see your opponent's items for a limited time.
- Available in team races, 3+-Star Difficulty Tracks, and in Item Mode or Item Grand Prix races.
New Item: Siren
- Eee-ooo-eee-ooo! All racers ahead, watch out!
- When used, colliding with other racers will spin them out for a brief period, allowing you to move past with ease.
- Available in 3-Star Difficulty Tracks only, in Item Mode or Item Grand Prix races.
Other Changes
- When the Water Bomb item is in the active slot for use, the mini-map will now display where the bomb is expected to land when fired.
New Characters
Two new Racer characters have been added, and can be obtained as Racing Pass rewards:
Draky
"I would do anything to see you again..."
Draky is a racer with a heart as distant as the moon and has lived for countless years. The only emotion left within his unbeating heart is an undying love for his little sister, whom he lost in a tragic accident.
Spirit Kid
"Who am I? I haven't a clue!"
Spirit Kid is a shy but playful little ghost who loves to surprise others while keeping her face concealed. She seems to resemble Draky's little sister, but has no memory of her past life.
New Accessories: Tire Marks
- These new accessories can be equipped to change the look of the tire marks left on the track as a result of skidding and drifting.
- These accessories are equipped from the [Garage - Kart - Accessories] menu.
- Tire Marks appear in all modes, excluding License Mode and in Replays.
UI and UX Changes
- The In-Game HUD has been changed in the following ways:
- (PC/Console only) The Place display has been removed, matching the Mobile HUD.
- Size of the Leaderboard and the Item Record will adjust dynamically to account for the length of a Racer's name.
- Lap time information has been removed.
- Racing Pass UI has been updated:
- The Racing Pass notice in the main lobby has been improved, showing the progress to the next level as well as the upcoming reward, along with an animation for when a level is obtained.
- When entering the Racing Pass menu for the first time in a season, the season's video will now be shown.
- When a Racing Pass reward has been unlocked, a pop-up notice will now appear.
- Replay Menu:
- Replay Reset criteria has been added, to inform Racers that replays will reset with every season.
- Additional details, such as Save Quantity per Mode and Save Criteria, have been added.
- Custom Race Menu:
- AI can now be added to teams with human Racers.
- AI setting is now maintained when the Game Mode is changed.
- (PC/Console Only) Kart rank and name is now displayed under the Racer name.
- (PC/Console Only) Host Display is now on the right.
- Lobby Background has been updated.
- A message will now be displayed when blocking another player with a full Block List (400), informing you that the new player has been blocked and the least recently blocked player has been removed from the Block List.
- Joy's Surprise Test:
- The initial intro video can now be skipped.
- A content guide pop-up has been added.
- The way Time Remaining for Challenges is displayed has been adjusted.
- Tooltips for the B2, B1, and L3 License missions have been changed.
Momentum System
- The Momentum Mission objective has been adjusted to become more clear.
- Added 2 "Racing Pass" missions to the Lv. 2 Momentum Mission.
Preset System
- Additional Preset slots can now be purchased for 3,000 Lucci.
- 4 Preset slots remain available for free for all Racers.
- Up to 12 Preset Slots can be acquired (4 free, 8 purchased).
- Preset slots can now be renamed.
- Preset slots can now be reset, removing all custom settings and allowing it to be fully reused.
- The Tire Mark category has been added under Accessories within Presets.
Matchmaking
- Matchmaking UI has been improved:
- When the matchmaking setting is either "AI" or "Racers + AI", AI can now be matched at the same time as other Racers.
- If set to "Racers + AI", the number of AI that join the race may differ depending on the amount of time spent matchmaking.
- AI difficulty has been adjusted to account for Racer skill.
- A notice for Matchmaking Status based on Network Status has been added:
- If the Racer's network status is poor, a red ping will display next to their name in the Lobby and Custom Race rooms.
- Matchmaking in this state will trigger a pop-up message, notifying the Racer that the network may not be stable, and switching to include AI racers may be advised for a smoother matchmaking experience.

- (Steam/Console only) Guest Account Link feature has been added.
Bug Fixes
- Factory: Brodi's Gloom: Fixed an issue where the camera would shake severely when smashed by the hydraulic press while viewing a replay.
- Fixed an issue where some party member characters would look straight forward at you in the lobby... staring... judging...
